We all have them and we all like the ups better than the downs, but the latter are more important. What? How did you feel when you were going through a down time. Angry, Sad, Mad, despondent, frustrated, even worthless? What did you do? Many will consider the circumstances and realize they could have done something better or more effectively. This is a time of great potential improvement in my life. What did I learn via this experience? Consider the most painful times in your life. Looking back, did you later decide to do some things differently? Why? Because otherwise, that pain won’t go away. If you’re feeling emotional pain, it’s because you are learning a life lesson, the hard way, which is often the only way many of us learn anything really important. Do I want to make a similar mistake again? Probably not! If this fits, embrace the opportunity to improve your senses and your thinking ability. What am I willing to do differently to avoid that pain in the future?
